We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

I would like to get some Love Gives Hope Music, Art and Sport Festivals initiated around the globe...and have a Woodstock type Festival at SPAC in Honor of Eleanor Roosevelt and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Let's Do IT!

Thank you for working for Peace. When I was almost done with my Master's in IT in 2006 I came up with the Peace Project. I gave it 20 years to implement and condensed things to 10 major obstacles. I…Continue

Comment by Steve H on March 23, 2012 at 12:45am Love is the basis of all that we need. Everything grows from there. I am working on a project to focus on bringing people together, noticing beauty, finding Peace within and sending that positive energy of Peace out to the world. Join with me, start something like that on your own, post inspiring things here, share love and wisdom. As Deborah said, there are as many ways to create Peace as there are snowflakes. The key is to choose to do whatever you can.
Peace to All,
Steve

Comment by The Ancient One on December 20, 2011 at 8:28am Immerse yourself in Songs, Poems and Prayers. Sing a Song of Limitless Possibilities and Absolute Joy. Make your Life a Poem of Ancient Wisdom and Boundless Possibilities. Pray for the kind of Life your Soul is yearning for and Illuminate your dark places. Love flows Freely when we allow the Light in our Heart to Connect us with the Sacred. Global change begins with a Song, a Poem and a Prayer. Amen.

the poorer are your hands the more aprreciated becomes the gift
people which don't understand and "can't read" your love signs wants you to protect from delusion
Laurie,
I so agree.
Your welcome. The discussion of women's equality interest me. I have always fought for equality for women, people of color, the elderly and the disabled. It is sad even with title 7 women in this country have not risen as they should have. They continue to make 60% if what men make in the same positions.
The title that "Love Gives Hope" is true. I also say in order to have love one must have trust. Is true love unconditional?
Comment by Babs Henn on August 7, 2011 at 10:45am I like your idea of a Woodstock type Festival very much, Laurie. Thanks for getting things started! Ron's words resonate with me. Apparently, the ones who had an impact on the world in the past used to be men: http://youtu.be/tjgtLSHhTPg. But it looks like times are changing. Beyoncé's new song is called "Run the World (Girls)": http://youtu.be/Vxzzk9V_Qjg
